The K9 Concept is based on the theory that training dogs and owners needs to be entirely tailored and flexible. There is no ONE concept to train all owners and dogs effectively. What we do is customise the training programme to the individual needs of you and your dog. My name is Zsófi (that’s the Hungarian version of Sophie).
I am the founder and owner of The K9 Concept and when you come on board with us it will be myself who works with you to design your unique training programme.
I’ve always loved animals. As a child I surrounded myself with dogs and cats and it was no surprise to anyone when I went on to study for my master’s degree in agricultural engineering. My degree gave me a real in-depth knowledge of amongst other things dog breeding and animal behaviour. While I was studying at University, I joined a voluntary Search and Rescue (SAR) Team and attended as many dog training and pre-hospital care courses as possible.
Operating within a SAR Team had a great impact on me and was very rewarding. This has taken me into my current role within the Ambulance Service, which I am currently involved with to this day.
